Coaching with Purpose is launching the Support Professionals Pathway – Recognition Certificate (SPP-RC), a cross-sector initiative designed to recognize individuals who have demonstrated rehabilitation, lived experience, and readiness to contribute to helping professions, including peer support, behavioral health, and social services. This framework is intended to guide equitable workforce pathways and inform potential future initiatives, balancing opportunity, public safety, and professional growth.
We are inviting workforce development professionals, behavioral health staff, court personnel, civil service groups, and community organizations to join the SPP-RC Review Committee and provide expert input to shape this innovative framework.
Collaborate with cross-sector leaders to shape a framework that is equitable, inclusive, and actionable
Provide insights on workforce needs, program design, and community impact
Help guide a pathway that supports both participants and employers, acknowledging rehabilitation and lived experience
Contribute to a framework that may inform future initiatives or pilot programs, strengthening workforce development and community outcomes
Time Commitment: 6 months, 3–6 hours per month
First Meeting: Last week of February 2026
Application Deadline: February 10, 2026
Committee Size: 6–7 members
Committee members will review the framework, offer insights on workforce and community needs, and help ensure the pathway is practical, equitable, and impactful.
We welcome individuals from Workforce Development Councils and Training Programs, Behavioral Health Agencies and Peer Support Networks, Court and Community-Based Organizations, and Civil Service and Reentry Programs.
